Negeri van Oranje ( The Country of Orange) is a feature film based on a bestseller about 5 Indonesian students, Lintang (Tatjana Saphira), Banjar (Arifin Putra), Wicak (Abimana Aryasatya), Daus (Ge Pamungkas), and Geri (Chicco Jerikho) coincidentally meet in the Netherlands. Each one of them study in different cities (Leiden, Utrecht, Rotterdam, Wageningen and Den Haag). They start to share laughter and pain together. Problems arise when Lintang realizes that the people she considers her best friends, have feelings for her and trying to outdo each other to get her attention. At the same time, Lintang’s relationship with her Dutch boyfriend is on the verge of breaking up, because she it turns out that she also has feelings for one of her friends. The gang’s friendship becomes complicated and their relationship gets put to the test.
